Common questions
How Fast We Get to You
What happens after I call?
A real person answers and takes down what's going on, then finds whichever of our plumbers is closest to you. You'll get a rough sense of timing straight away, and a written number once the job's actually been seen.
How fast can you get here?
Same day is the aim on almost every callout, and often faster depending on where our plumbers already are. We won't promise an exact arrival window, because guessing that just to sound good helps nobody.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Water you can't stop, no hot water at all, sewage backing up, or a gas smell, and that last one means leave the property and call 000 if it's strong. Most other issues can comfortably wait for a scheduled visit.
How do I book?
Call (02) 9054 3067 and speak to a real person, or fill in the callback form if that suits you better. Either way, a licensed plumber turns up with a number agreed before anything starts.
Common questions
Money, Quotes and Offers
What does the $65 off your first service cover?
It's $65 off the total price of your first job with us, applied once you book, no separate code needed. It sits on top of the $0 call-out fee, not instead of it.
Why isn't the lowest price your main focus?
Because the lowest number on paper often isn't the lowest cost once call-backs and shortcuts get factored in. We'd rather compete on a fixed price you can actually trust and a warranty that means something.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. Getting a plumber to look at the job is free, and that doesn't change once you've seen the number.
Does the price change once you start?
No. The fixed price we agree before starting is the price on the invoice at the end, full stop.
Common questions
The Carramar Questions
How local are you, really?
Carramar is part of our regular run, not a suburb we occasionally stretch to. We're on these streets often enough to know Wattle Avenue from Carramar Avenue without checking a map first.
Why do Carramar's older homes get plumbing emergencies?
Most houses here went up in the 1950s through the 70s, and the pipework put in the ground at the time has now had half a century to wear out. It tends to fail suddenly rather than give warning.
Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?
Yes, alongside the emergency callouts. New building and extensions near the Carramar Riverside Reserve corridor and renovations on older blocks both come through fairly regularly.
Do you handle strata and units in Carramar?
Carramar itself is mostly separate and semi-detached houses rather than large unit blocks, so strata-style work isn't the bulk of what we do here. When it does come up, mainly shared walls between semis, we handle it the same as any other job.
Common questions
Licensed, Insured and Done Properly
Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?
Turning off water at the meter or leaving the property for a gas smell is safe and sensible. Anything past that, opening pipework or touching gas fittings, needs a licensed plumber, both by law and for your own safety.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, our plumbers and gas fitters work under NSW Lic #465156C, with insurance behind every callout. You can check the licence yourself any time at verify.licence.nsw.gov.au.
What happens if something goes wrong after the job's done?
Whatever we repair or replace is guaranteed on the labour, in writing, indefinitely. A repeat fault gets fixed again at no charge.
Can you check my licence number?
Yes, we'd rather you check it than take our word for it. Lic #465156C is on the public NSW register, searchable in a couple of clicks.
